Aztec God of the Wind Mythological God Ehecatl Volcanic Stone 3D Wall Art Mexico Handmade 3D volcanic stone sculpture 3D wall art of the Aztec God of the Wind. The Aztec Wind Gods name was Ehécatl (which simply means Wind in Náhuatl). He was an important aspect (or guise) of the great creator god Quetzalcóatl (Feathered Serpent or Quetzal-plumed Snake). His full name, then, is often given as Quetzalcóatl-Ehécatl. According to Aztec myth, it was thanks to the Wind God that human life began at all. This awesome art piece was handmade in Mexico and features a faithful reproduction of the original art that is on display in the Museum of Anthropology and History located in Mexico City. Made from hand colored natural volcanic rock, the Quetzalcoatl god figure is rendered in beautiful vivid colors and is set against a textured volcanic stone panel in light gray with a black border.
