Craniosynostosis awareness 💜 is a condition in which one or more of the fibrous sutures in an infant (very young) skull prematurely fuses by turning into bone (ossification), thereby changing the growth pattern of the skull. My son has metopic craniosynostosis his surgery to correct it is August 7 prayers are welcomed and needed for a speedy recovery

mhelton1992 @cynsational101 thank you so much 😊 he’s doing pretty good right now I haven’t been back to work since he was born I want me and my husband to stay with him the majority of the time till his surgery and they won’t work with my schedule unfortunately

mhelton1992 @cynsational101 🙁 but kids come first 😊 he’s my everything and I want to make sure that when he’s in the ICU afterwards that he’s got the two people he’s attached to the most 😊 especially since only one of us can stay there with him overnight at least until they move him to a regular room

cynsational101 @mhelton1992 I see his surgery is coming up soon. I'll be thinking of your family! I've been thru a child having a spinal fusion for scoliosis! Just stay busy with family & electronics etc. Please let me know how things go! ☺️
