The set has never been assembled. The cover photo shows the piece as it would appear assembled. The cow shakers measure approximately 2 inches tall by 3 inches long. TO ASSEMBLE: With decorative sides facing out, snap in sides of napkin holder to base to permanently secure. TO CLEAN: Wipe napkin holder with a damp cloth. Hand wash salt and pepper shakers with mild soap and water. DO NOT place in dishwasher. BONUS ITEM: I am also including a porcelain cow toothpick holder, made in Japan (not part of the set).
