Aventurine earrings

Vintage jewelry cache -- an older relative cleaned out her jewelry box for downsizing prior to a move, and here it all is! Striking green aventurine clip-on earrings, gold tone. I can't find any maker's mark on these earrings, so I will assume they are not gold or vermeil. But they are lovely and lightweight. Aventurine is thought to bring luck and heal the spirit! Each stone is 3/4" long.
