Vintage 1940s Authentic Chimayo Hand Woven Publeo Indian Wool Vest New Mexico This vest has some flaws, as seen in the last photo(worn wool) These garments were made mostly by women in the New Mexico region. Mostly worn by women as well. All natural dyes and fibers. This is authentic purchased from a friend. Worn by my friends, great great relative in the 1940s . I have cleaned the spots the best I can. NOTE: DO NOT DRY CLEAN THEY WILL RUIN THIS GARMENT. Hand wash in cold water and roll in dry towel to remove moisture, then hang to dry. Condition: Some areas are worn, and fringe is worn.
