However, the name "Burberrys of London" is still visible on many older Burberry products. In 1891, Burberry opened a shop in the Haymarket, London.

posh_princesss @sstrong18 unfortunately I do not have the original receipt but tag on the actual scarf indicates it’s authenticity! It is an original Burberry tag that was used before the 2000s! It was purchased by my mother at the Burberry store in NYC years ago

posh_princesss @laylaharajli_ “Burberry’s” was the original name before the company changed it to Burberry not too late no ago. Product that are marked “Burberry” or “Burberry’s of London” are still original products, like this scarf..it’s vintage!

seanstock OMG, I authenticate Burberry for a vintage store in New York. Some people are idiots. Burberrys changed in 1998 to Burberry so the tag is correct if it is older than 1998. Also, the blue tags of a certain hue were reserved for Lambswool and Lambswool mix scarves (the exception being scarves sold in Japan only where a Cashmere scarf could have a blue label). So, everything looks good so far. However, I am concerned about the tag, but since this is not cashmere it could be authentic.

seanstock @posh_princesss I will however say that I usually authenticate cashmere scarfs, the label is incorrect (for cashmere, wrong stitching) for that and the location is atypical. So I can't vouch for its 100% authenticity just that the other comments about the scarf were wrong.

thatburbgirl Just wanted to come back on here and let any interested buyers know that this scarf is 100% authentic !!! I had a few of the same scarf (Burberry’s label) authenticated by a 3rd party. I’m surprised this still hasn’t sold 😭
