The bottom barely have any wear in my opinion as these are leather bottom and show wear immediately due to material. No matter how small and even if I don't see the wear, please note that wear may include upper and soles such as scuff marks, surface scratches, insole and outsole wear. You can apply a clear protective sole during walking to preserve more of the bottom sole. Also, I alway condition the leather to upkeep preserve it.
