Authentic Hermes Scarf

Beautiful rare Hermes silk scarf with light blue borders, depicting scenes from perhaps the Middle Ages; people, horses, a woman with a harp, a rooster, pots of flowers, and designs. Designed by Maurice Trenchant. Imagerie written at the top, Hermes Paris written at the bottom. Hand sewn, rolled hem edges. Originally issued in 1974, the scarf was re-issued in 1998, making it a rare collector’s item. Purchased from the Madison Ave store in NYC, in March, 1999. Comes in the original box (no ribbon tie), with a card inside explaining how to care for the scarf (do not wash!) Material: Carre 90 pure silk. Measurements: 35” X 35” square.
