These boots are beautiful. The problem is, they only fit if you have small legs. There is a slit at the tip of the left boot because I took it to a shoe repair store to get a zipper installed and the guy waits until he cuts the boot to tell me he doesn’t have a brown or copper colored zipper!!! Can easily be repaired at a shoe repair shop if you don’t care about the zipper color or you can cover the top with a pair of leg warmers and be on your way! They are authentic and I have a box.

mzdelea Hi Cassie. The boots don’t stretch so they will be better suited for a smaller leg. They’re honestly really hard to get on if your calf’s are not small.

mzdelea @kachi777 Hi. There is no zipper on the boot. In my description, I mentioned having one installed due to the circumference of the boot being too tight on my leg. I haven’t found a shoe repair shop in my area that has the type of zipper needed.

mzdelea @kachi777 lol, yes. 😊 They look really cute with leg warmers over the top to cover the slit and no one knows they don’t belong there lol, but with my calf being so big, it’s uncomfortable to wear the boot after while. The slit is down the seam, so the zipper can easily be installed , but honestly without installing a zipper, you may not be able to repair the slit.

uneedthistoo Would really help to see a pic of the cut that was made and also a top of boot shaft measurement. We don’t know the size of your calf to compare so quite difficult to assess the situation properly.
