Gorgeous coat. Worn twice (unfortunately too small). The European size is 40, equivalent to a US 6. Coat has a fitted silhouette across the chest. The lapels on the shoulders have been removed and I no longer have them. Coat is in mint condition and freshly dry cleaned. Dust bag included m.

jessikksd1 Hello, I’m definitely looking for the Chelsea in terms of tailored fit. I am a US6 and 40 IT in this style but for current sizing that is actually a UK 8 since Chelsea runs small, but this jacket looks like a UK 10 per the label - is this correct?

sjacobs20 @jessikksd1 it’s actually a UK 8 and US size 6. The mannequin dress form is also a 6 so you can see how fitted it is. It’s a stunning coat (I’ve just bought another in a larger size). But honestly if you are a US size 6 in clothing, it may be very snug unless you plan to wear only dresses or thin sweaters underneath.

jessikksd1 @sjacobs20 thank you for the prompt reply. I am a size 4, and I just tried on the current Chelsea trench in store and I definitely take a size US 6, UK 8 and this Chelsea fitted style as opposed to Kensington. My concern is this is an older version so does not say “Chelsea” or “medium” on tags the way I am accustomed to seeing. Are you absolutely sure it is the Chelsea style? Could you provide length and shoulder width measurements so I can compare to the current one being sold by online?

jessikksd1 I think this is probably the sadringham style rather than Chelsea with the number of buttons down the front, still very beautiful and fitted

sjacobs20 @jessikksd1 oh great, so glad you tried it on in store and you know your correct size. Yes, this is the older version. The lining is different but same cut and style. I just bought the new Chelsea in a larger size and actually prefer the pretty lining of my older coat but they changed the lining. Shoulder to hem: 36.5” / shoulder to shoulder (across top) 15” / pit to pit 17” / waist 15”. I will take pics with the tape measure and update the listing tonight.

jessikksd1 The main tag in black almost looks like it says size 10 which is why I was confused if it was a UK 10, but looking more closely does it actually say size 40 as in IT size 40? This should be my correct size if so (UK 8/ US 6 / IT 40)

sjacobs20 @estherhorschel yes it has a very subtle sheen. The 5th picture reveals it most accurately. It’s not shiny though, just a hint of a sheen that does appear more luxe than the cotton version. Not sure if that is what you’re looking for. It’s stunning though. Wish I could still fit it.
