The Haut à courroies (HAC) is Hermès' oldest bag design and the blueprint for the Birkin. When Hermès was still primarily a saddlery, the HAC was designed as a sturdy and practical way to carry saddles and riding boots. This iconic HAC 32cm tote was made by Hermes Paris in 2003 from Fjord leather. Fjord leather is male calf leather known for its fair softness and matte texture. Due to its high water resistance out of all cowhide, this leather is also utilized in casual bags such as the Garden Party. Kept in Excellent condition by a seasoned collector. Date code Square G.
