Beautiful vintage hand-blown bubble glass vase from Biot, France. This piece features the classic Biot form with a rounded body, applied glass collar, and thousands of tiny trapped air bubbles throughout — a signature of Biot's artisan craftsmanship. Measures approximately 6.25 inches tall with a 3-inch wide opening. It is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks or chips. While the shape may resemble a carafe or decanter, this piece was most likely designed as a vase. The flared opening and lack of a fitted neck or wear suggest it was not originally made with a stopper. Biot glass is made in the village of Biot, in the South of France, known since the 1950s for its distinctive bubble glass technique (known as "verre bullé"). Each piece is hand-blown and unique, carrying the charm of mid-century French design. Base is engraved "BIOT."
