Authentic African Custom Made Dress

This beautiful authentic hand made African dress in vibrant green and magenta print is straight from Nigeria. Featuring a split peplum waist, generous exposed zipper, vent for ease of wear, lining, and bust padding. My husband is Nigerian and my sweet mother in law gifted me this dress the last time she came to visit. I absolutely LOVE the style and the vibrant green print! Unfortunately, though, I am very long and lanky and this dress proved to be too petite for my height. It is approximately equivalent to a U.S. size 6. FLAT LAY measurements are approximately: 39" long 15" waist 19.5" hip 16.5" bust Fabric is 100% cotton. The pattern is created using the unique method of oil printing as is common in many African countries. The dress is very high quality and is fully lined. The bust even includes light padding, so a bra is optional. Trust me when I say, no one else will be wearing this dress at the party! Truly one of a kind. Dresses in Nigeria are typically hand made by small family-owned businesses, so you can feel good knowing you are supporting them! For those who are seamstresses or are willing to take it to one, there is sufficient fabric allowances on the inside to let it out or lengthen it by as much as two inches or so all over. So this size can be relatively easily adjusted larger or smaller to your specific needs.
