melissagelfand @erin_noelle568 - No. Circa early 1980s. Dior didn’t begin to use any ID numbers consistently until the late 1990s and then date stamped with month/year of manufacturing and location. Telltale signs of its authenticity are the gold plate with branding/font, the zipper pull, the shape, fabrication and stitching and the interior under the foldover flap. It’s a darling saddle shaped bag, influencing Galliano’s designs for Dior down the road. Hope that helps.
