Hi everyone. I have this Burberry trench coat that I believe to be authentic, possibly the Buckingham double breasted mid length model. I’m looking for any and all advice on getting this authenticated. The last thing I want to do is sell someone a fake, please let me know what you think! P.s. posh made me crop all my photos, so please let me know if there are any shots you’d like to see specifically. Also counted stitches in collar. There’s exactly 11.5 stitches per 1” fabric. Thank you guys!

amymaliff @bonjourcherie hi this is the jacket. It made me crop all the photos. And also when I posted it I got a warning from posh about being a replica. Is that normal? Please let me know what you think. Seriously any advice helps. I just want to be sure about this before I take any steps forward. Thank you so much!!

I’ve just been reading a lot of bad experiences people have had with scammers (the buyers) getting an authentic item, after being approved by posh authenticate, then they destroy or claim it’s fake and send back a fake, keep the real one, etc. so idk if I’m overthinking this or if this does happen

silverlady1986 @amymaliff I have not heard anything like this happening on poshmark, if poshmark authenticates it, sends it to the buyer, you receive your money, and that is final, if I were you I would send a message to poshmark, voicing my concerns, ask if there has been any issues with buyers doing this, poshmark would see the condition of your coat and know it was fine. It's a beautiful coat so don't let people try to discourage you.
