Atocha Shipwreck 8 Reales Coin Pendent 14K YGold Lisa Alana Designs Setting

This pendant is absolutely stunning! Recovered from the Spanish galleon, the Atocha that sank off the coast of the Florida Keys in 1622. The coin was set in the most lovely is mountings with unusual shaped prongs! The large sized swivel bezel can accommodate most sized chains. It is currently shown on a chunky vintage rope type chain. Chain is gold filled, 24” long, weighs 12.140 grams and is 3mm thick. Hallmarked 1/20 12k and ACo. The bail on setting is hallmarked 14k and LAD for Lisa Alana Designs - known for her high-end mountings for coins. Pendant weighs 10.3 grams. It is approximately 1-3/16” wide x 1-3/16” long. Bail adds another 1/2” to length. Last photo shows it on a super chunky sterling silver Byzantine chain that is sold separately! This beautiful statement piece was a gift from an elderly family friend. Unfortunately, I do not have any paperwork on it.
