Asian Kogyokudo Small Plate Dutchman Person Design Red Blue White Gold

This listing is for one small plate, similar in size to a bread and butter plate. Prior to listing, I had asked for identification help on a recognized Japanese resource and did receive some information. The mark reads Kogyokudo. The style of the plate is similar to Arita, but other notable kilns produced comparable works. The people around the plate were described as Dutchmen. The plate measures 6 1/4'' wide. This is a previously owned item in good overall condition. No chips or cracks. There is some light to light-plus utensil scuffing on the front. The design is overwhelmingly intact, with some gold wear around the rim. There is some base wear present. Please view the various images for more information and to help with your decision.
