Artisan Amethyst Ring

Thick band, gold tone, large amethyst. If I had to guess, I would guess 16-22 carat weight for the stone. Unusual shape. Size 6 but fits tight because of the thick band. There is an inscription inside the ring but it's very worn off. Not sure of metal type Amethyst are aligned with the crown chakra and are intended for spiritual awakening. It's also Feb birthstone!
