Starting off with That I have tried to verify the exact gold content of the piece but had a hard time verifying it completely. So they story is it has been tested by 2 jewelers & 2 scrap gold places both verified that it was silver and tested positive for 18k gold but they all wanted to cut off one of the links and crush it to verify the gold content. It was acid, XRF fluorescent Gun, and XRF machines tested one that even measured two Millimeters deep. They all came back as 18k on all tests but all of the jewelers seem worried about it truly being gold so would only offer a price if they could destroy one of the links. So I refused! I didn’t want this beautiful crafted piece to be destroy. I listed it as 18k & silver but I can’t guarantee the gold content. This item will go through Postmarks authentication department.
