* This Is My Beloved is a 1968 concept album by jazz and R&B singer Arthur Prysock. It is a unique record featuring Prysock's deep baritone voice delivering verses from the Walter Benton book of poems of the same name, set against a sensitive jazz instrumental score by Mort Garson.
* The album is structured as a private monologue, with side one titled "Love Shared" and side two featuring "Love Lost, Love Remembered." The lyrics explore a man reflecting on a significant love affair.
* Arthur Prysock (1929–1997) was a celebrated American jazz and R&B singer, best known for his velvety, soulful baritone voice. His career spanned several decades, during which he sang with bandleader Buddy Johnson, recorded with Count Basie, and later found commercial success with a disco hit and a famous jingle for Löwenbräu beer.
* This CD was a rerelease of the original album. The CD disc is in Very Good preloved condition with a few minor scratches that do not affect the proper playing of the disc. The CD Case is in Good condition with one large scratch on the back of the case. The Insert is in Excellent condition.
* The CD Case measures 5” Tall x 5 1/2” Wide x 3/8” Thick. It weighs 3.53 ounces or 100 grams.
