Art Nouveau style jewelry box or trinket casket

from Google...The object in the image is a vintage or antique Art Nouveau style jewelry box or trinket casket. It is a silver-toned metal box with ornate scrollwork and a decorative crest on the lid.  The interior is typically lined with velvet to protect jewelry or other small items.  The box stands on four curled legs and features a hinged lid.  Similar items have been identified as being from the early 20th century, with some being from Germany.  I don't know the history, age and I don't see any markings.
