I love Art Deco jewelry! This is a stunning, sterling silver, vintage 1920s necklace. This beauty is done with deep red faceted glass accents. These are prong set with open backs. Even the detailing on the back of the setting is ornate. The pendant has beautiful detail work and is set with two steel cut cabochons that glitter. The two ornate small links are on each side. Above these are larger links that coordinate with the pendant and also has the steel cut sparkling details. This is all suspended from a paperclip petite chain. Closes with an old style thumb ring. This maintains its original patina. Stunning piece to add to your collection. Measurements: Necklace length 16 1/4" long however you can add a chain extender to this easily as it ends with jump rings. Red pendant: 1 5/8" long Weight: 8 grams Condition: Very good vintage condition for its age, vintage patina - wear consistent with age. I do not see any chips in the glass. . Please examine enlarged photos for details and condition.. Much more beautiful in real life. I am not an expert on vintage jewelry, but I do buy and sell what I love! Since these items are vintage, they may have a wonderful aged patina and are not meant or expected to look brand new. I treasure their imperfections as part of their charm and history.
