An exceptional Pre-Eagle Mexican Modernist bracelet signed PY / Mexico / Sterling (.925). Crafted in the early Mexican Silver Renaissance, this piece reflects the influence of William Spratling’s workshops, which trained artisans to merge Pre-Columbian and Mayan iconography with modernist design ✨.
The bracelet features four bezel-set, hand-carved green onyx Aztec warrior masks alternating with sterling repoussé caviar-style ball panels ⚒️. The onyx varies from lime to deep moss tones, with striking carved detail 🌿.
Construction: sturdy hand-pinned hinges, secure box clasp, and added safety chain with lobster closure 🔒.
