Art Deco Carved Garnet Red Bakelite Galalith Louis Rousselet Bead 16” Necklace

Art Deco Carved Garnet Red Galalith or Bakelite Graduated Beads 16 inch Necklace Circa 1920s-1940s 1. The case for Louis Rousselet- there are no obvious seam marks these do appear to be hand carved. The material seems to be Galalith The length is correct The graduated sizing of carved beads The shape of the round beads and the shape of the spacer beads are similar if not identical to many confirmed necklaces from the famed Parisian jewelry designer  2. The case against Louis Rousselet- The clasp is a barrel clasp, however it is hidden inside two of the beads. The beads are strung on a string, not on metal 3. My thoughts- I think this is likely a case of the beads having been created by the design studio of Louis Rousselet or from a creator aping his designs, but the necklace itself was either restrung, or entirely created by a different maker NO MATTER WHAT this art deco necklace is a stunning piece of jewelry that is unlike anything on the market at this time. Several of the beads have wear and damage commiserate with age, clasp could be more secure, please carefully examine photos Most of the photos were lightened to show the details of the beads, the actual necklace is a dark red, more of a garnet red.
