Art Deco 1920s Egyptian Assuit Scarf Wrap Shawl Hammered Gold Ivory Mesh

When Tutankamen's ( King Tut) tomb was found in 1922, all things Egyptian became the 1920s Flapper fashion rage. Egyptian assuit scarf, shawl, or wrap in ivory cotton. Tiny pieces of hammered gold woven into mesh in an Art Deco triangle motif. Hand rolled edges. Light and fluid and glistens when it catches light. Perfect for bridal. Measures generous 24" x 88" Condition: Very good vintage condition, I gently soaked out decades of dirt but several faint age stains remain that didn't show in photos, I did several 1 or 2 stitch mesh and edge repairs, 2 bigger repairs near center.
