celicel08 @swestfield13 hi sorry I missed your question! I’m also in between those sizes and these are snug when worn with a cotton dress sock. I didn’t break them in at all so they are tight on the foot like most cowboy boots until the leather softens up. My heel doesn’t slide and my toes don’t hit the front. I’d definitely suggest walking in them for a few hours until you wear them out in public to break them in. Hope this helps!
