An extremely rare, early-era Arc’teryx shell from the brand’s golden age of Canadian manufacturing.
This 1998 Arc’teryx Theta LT (model code MGJ9-02 / Lot # 536) was produced in Vancouver, B.C. and features the iconic Molten red colorway with gold embroidered logo — one of the most sought-after combinations among collectors.
• Authentic Theta LT (Lightweight) alpine shell – pre-2000 production
• Gore-Tex 3-Layer PTFE membrane for full waterproof + windproof protection
• Lightweight ripstop nylon body with reinforced shoulder & elbow panels
• Helmet-compatible storm hood with laminated brim + cinch adjusters
• Dual waterproof chest pockets + pit-zips for ventilation
• Velcro cuff tabs & hem drawcords for custom fit
• Fully taped seams, waterproof front zip, and early gold-thread branding
• Made in Vancouver, B.C., Canada (hand-stamped internal production code)
• Men’s Large (LG Molten)
• Arc’teryx’s “LT = Lightweight Technical” cut — athletic fit designed for layering and mobility
Vintage-excellent for its age (over 25 years old!) – no delamination or major flaws; all zippers, seams, and drawcords functional. Clean interior and strong Gore-Tex integrity.
• Verified 1998 production (MGJ9-02 / Lot 536)
• Pre-China manufacturing → Made-in-Canada Arc’teryx pieces are highly prized
• Rare Molten & Gold colorway with embroidered fossil logo
A true grail piece for vintage Arc’teryx, Y2K outdoor, or technical mountaineering collectors.
