tawnag @sandyt143 who is your phone carrier? We switched to tmoblie from Verizon and I could have kept my phone but would've had to change to tmobiles SIM card. But as far as being locked it is not locked it is wiped clean and set back to factory settings- does not require a passcode to use- the passcode will have to be set up as if it were a new phone by the buyer
