Used Apple Pro Mouse (M5769), introduced in 2000, was Apple’s first optical mouse, featuring a distinctive "zero-button" design where the entire clear acrylic shell acts as the click mechanism. It replaced the previous rubber ball mice with a solid-state LED sensor for improved accuracy and featured adjustable click tension. Design: An elongated, elliptical shape designed for both left and right-handed users. Technology: LED optical tracking, which was a major shift from mechanical, ball-based mice. "Zero-Button" Feel: The top surface is seamless, with the click mechanism triggered by pressing down on the shell, allowing for adjustable click force.
