VINTAGE APOLLO LADIES DRESSER VALET POWDER BOX WITH LID, VINTAGE VANITY DECOR, APOLLO STUDIOS, GLASS AND GILT LID, POWDER & LIPSTICK HOLDER, 1900'S-1920, AMBER GLASS, 24K GOLD PLATED FLORAL FLILIGREE, This belonged to my client's grandmother and was lovingly used by her, her mother, and her grandmother before her. It holds a lot of memories, and overall is excellent used condition for the time period and he gold on the lid has discolored over time- please see photos for details. My client hopes to pass this special piece along to someone who will cherish it and make new memories with it. This beautiful antique vanity set features an amber glass base with a 24k gold-plated metal floral filigree lid. The lid is stamped 'Apollo 3125.' Made by the renowned Apollo Studios of New York — a contemporary of Tiffany Studios — this piece dates to around 1909–1922 and would have originally been used to store powder, lipstick, or small small items. Apollo Studios items were once sold in exclusive Fifth Avenue stores, making this a special addition to any collection.
