Apilco Mini Heart-Shaped White Porcelain Cheese Mold

Apilco founded in 1820’s France This is a vintage, mid-20th century (1940’s - 1970’s) heart-shaped cheese mold. No scratches, chips, cracks or crazing. “Porcelaine à feu” means “ovenproof porcelain” (literally “porcelain for fire”) For fresh cheeses (fromage blanc, ricotta, chèvre, labneh, mascarpone). • The heart mold drains whey through its holes while shaping the curds into a heart. Once drained, the cheese can be served directly in the mold or unmolded onto a plate. NOTE: If you’re not a cheese-lover, use it as a ring holder or flower frog. Use your imagination for this sweet heart-shaped delight!
