I shipped 3 packages 2-3 days ago and they still have not been scanned by USPS for updated tracking information. It usually takes a day, at most.I've already contacted Posh. Is there any thing else anyone can suggest? This is such an inconvenience and any help would be appreciated.

maracasI just started here on Posh and it has happened every time!!! Wether I ship it in the a.m. or at 4:30. It won't get a scan update until a day or two. Drives me bonkers! I've emailed Posh about it and no respond from them yet. Don't know if it's on their end or USPS. But somethings definitely up!

autumnshopsIt happened to me! I shipped 6 packages and it took until the day they were delivered to be scanned in! Gave me a heart attack! And it hurt my quick shipping stats!! I will take them to counter from now on.

kai_drizzy@autumnshops thats how things ended for me. I was extremely happy that they got delivered but the waiting process was so painful. Thankfully, I had patient buyers. Definitely doing things different next time!

aerspamerYes, this happened just last week to me for the first time. The USPS people where I live scanned it and got it going, but then the next scan in my buyers city didn't happen for 4 or 5 days!!! I I sent it out on a Monday!! I was worried and feeling bad for my customer, but thankfully she'll get it soon. I also think it's because of it being the holiday season. Can't imagine just how many packages and letter USPS has to take care of.

kai_drizzy@schx4 it's good to hear that Im not alone. I recently moved to Georgia, so I figure things may be a little slower here. Luckily everything worked out. It was eventually scanned on the day that it was going to be delivered but the wait was such a draggg !

schx4@kai_drizzy Oh I know it can be so frustrating 😞 We were reassigned from GA 3 yrs ago to here in Iowa, this is our last year and will be moving to TX in may 😵 LOL I'm always worried about the shipping , mail etc when moving ..you just don't know the area👎 I'm glad everything worked out eventually for both of us

dburris1030@kai_drizzy Take them to the P.O. Have the Clerk weigh them out, process them right them. You will get a Scan and a shipping/tracking receipt. Works perfect 100% of the time.

kai_drizzy@dburris1030 I agree. Worked 100% of the time for me when I lived in New Jersey. Since moving to Georgia they give me a bit of a hard time about scanning at drop off and providing a receipt. Will try a few different locations to see who's actually willing to do their job. Lol Thanks for the help! ☺

dburris1030@kai_drizzy First it's their job, Second tell them it's your business and you need a receipts. Be sweet and go back to the same location. After a while they will just love you and all will be good. Sugar instead of vinegar besides that may be your next sale or new Posher

kai_drizzy@stellaraplus Thanks for reaching out! ☺ Where I lived when I originally started Poshmark, that tactic worked for me. I recently moved to another state and they wont honor my request for a receipt. I tried the home pickup request yesterday and it updated quickly, so maybe I'll make more use of that option! *crosses fingers*

moisylvie@kai_drizzy Yes, just happened to me and @laurasiobhan. It took almost five days for a package to go from northern to southern california. It made me mad and really disapointed my buyer. The last time something like this happened was when i used mailbox ect...

kings_venesYes! I shipped a package for a customer on December 22nd, and she did not receive it until the second week in January 2016. I had to call the Post Office, after going through the process all over again explaining when, where and how I mailed the item they finally found the package and delivery it to the customer. In addition to the delay, Poshmark has my records that I mail within 8 days which is not true.

kings_venesTaking it to the Post Office and have it scan by the clerk in your presence is the correct thing to do. Don' t trust those drop off boxes.

kai_drizzy@moisylvie Yea it really sucks for the buyer and the seller. Not to mention, it really hurts your 'days to ship' stat. Thankfully I found a post office a few miles away that has no problem giving me an acceptance reciept. My mailman also scans it at the door when I schedule a pick up so things have been pretty good lately. Thanks for sharing and happy poshing! ☺

kai_drizzy@kings_venes 8 days? Aww man, that hurts. If the tracking info reflects the delay you can screenshot it and upload a post to your closet to give potential buyers an understanding of why it says 8 days. But I definitely agree, no usps blue boxes within the neighborhood. Post office lobby boxes seem to work out really well though.
