Research tells me that these purses were produced through kits during the late 1960s thru to the 1970s. Heavy-duty wood box holds decoupage prints done by Dutch artist Anton Pieck. The Netherlands Norman Rockwell. The artwork is fun and light-hearted 19th century town scenes. The handle is a Lucite. decorative latch and hinges. Lid opens half-way to show the cloth interior (very clean) and make-up mirror 3.25" x 4.25". Bottom of box is also layered with cloth. Purse measures 6" tall, base is 6" x 9". Handle 5" tall, 5 1/8" width. You can see in photos that there is some paint chipping in various spots. This would be very easy to cover up. Also see photos for corners that show dings on the decoupage. It is not peeling. Left corner has a ding. Handle has a ding (it shows white in photo). It has been around a long time and is showing minimal wear considering its age. All sides of box are included in photos. Please feel free to ask any questions or request additional photos.
