Anton Pearson Folk Art Sandstone Figurine Pair 8” Man Woman Lindsborg KS Signed

Items are believed to be Berger sandstone with hand-applied brown wash finish. The artist, Anton Pearson, a Swedish immigrant, settled in Lindsborg, Kansas (“Little Sweden USA”), where he became well known for his sandstone folk carvings. His figures often depict everyday immigrant and rural life. In preowned condition. Items have typical age-related wear. Some surface chipping, finish rubs, and small flaws (see photos) are present. Colors may vary due to lighting and screen settings. Most items are shipped with reused/recycled material.
