Antique wooden Recipes box - as is

Manufactured by the Imperial Methods Co. Forest Park, Ill, circa 1920’s, featuring dovetail joints and some old recipes. This one is showing its age with gobs of patina including a small broken chunk of wood from the bottom on the front side. Too bad. 6-3/4” x 5-1/4” x 4-1/2”. Incudes a handful of old time recipes, with examples of hand written, typewritten and some printed recipes. Some real classics from Saur Kraut Salad to Pickled Turnips. Yummy! The Treasure Cave printed recipes are circa 1940’s. This piece of Americana kitchen decor is still quite presentable.
