Antique necklace Handpainted Morpho Lady/Mary portrait Pearl & chain

Hand painted Morpho Antique necklace, Collector’s piece. It’s rare to see a Morpho portrait or religious scene…usually it’s palm or fir trees. BVM (Blessed Virgin Mary/Mother?) is engraved on the back in Roman-style letters. South American, I recall Brazil. The hand painted details in the face and robe/cloak & colors are beautiful! Pearl atop silver chain, listed at auction as Sterling Silver (unverified). These pieces were typically made in the 1920s-1940s, often crafted in England with the Brazilian materials. There may be a small inclusion in the resin coating on the left side, but it’s almost impossible to see. I just noticed it after 35 years. It’s been stored in a box. Thanks for looking!
