A beautiful piece of antique porcelain china with a lustreware glaze in the most gorgeous opalescent pearl white. Made by Theodore Lehmann in Bavaria this is a serving dish known as a berry bowl or dessert bowl. The pink roses are a Bavarian Rose pattern and are likely hand painted.
Condition: No chips or cracks, minimal crazing in the glaze. BUT, at one time, there was significant gold detailing here, along the scalloped edges, in the roses and in the scallops and that has almost completely worn off. The finished piece, however, is still stunning and would make a beautiful addition to a plate wall or as part of a centerpiece.
Base is about 5” diameter and it is about 10” diameter across the top.
