Antique goofus glass bowl with strawberries by Northwood Glass Company This large antique glass bowl is decorated with gold and red strawberries and strawberry leafs and vines. It’s a very heavy and thick bowl. The Northwood Glass Company made this bowl in the 1880s. It’s called Goofus glass, which is cold painted on pressed glass. Perfect to display or use to serve berries, fruit, salads or side dishes. There is ware and fading of gold/red on the rim, some of the strawberries, vines and leafs, which is to be expected from a bowl that’s over 120 years old.
