RARE FIND, ANTIQUE BEYER & BOCK, ROYAL RUDOLSTADT, VOLKSTEDT-RUDOLSTADT SMALL PLATE, HAND PAINTED fine PORCELAIN, 24K GOLD GILDING, 7" DIAMETER. This Beyer & Bock (Royal Rudolstadt, Rudolstadt-Volkstedt) plate is in amazing vintage/ antique condition! An original, produced in Thuringia, Germany. Beautifully painted in a colorful bouquet of colors on dainty flowers with intricate gold lace around the rim. Simple posies, daisies, lilies, and various flowers colorfully garnishing the plate. Sweet and cheerful, with royal gold trim around the edge of the plate that is bright and crisp, not worn and faded. This was my grandmother's of German decent. 7" diameter The stamped company logo on the back, a 'B' with 5-points crown stands for 'Beyer & Bock' and dates the plate back to 1905-1920. The plate has been maintained to high standards and the colors and the gold rim are bright and crisp.
