Antique Bohemian Style Volmer 1888 Cut To Clear Ruby Red Glass Wine Decanter Set Glasses & Vase with Stag forest scene etched glass and signed Volmer 1888 and JA 1887
This is an antique set/lot of 4 pieces, 2 glasses, a vase, and a wine decanter, Czechoslovakia Bohemia cut to Clear Ruby Red glass, decorated with Birds, Castles stags, excellent antique condition, free of damage, may be some dusty for long time in storage, may have some signals from use.
Decanter is signed Volmer 1888 and a glass is signed J A 1887.
Decanter is about 16" tall x 3.5" diameter and weight approx. 1.7 lbs in my scale, Vase is about 7.25" tall x 2.75" diameter, Glasses are about 3" tall x 2" diameter.

These set maybe attributed to Egermann Glass -
Friedrich Egermann (1777 - 1864) apprenticed at Meissen as a ceramic painter. After Friedrich Egermann returned to his home in Northern Bohemia, Czech Republic, he applied the techniques he learned to painting on glass and founded Egermann. Friedrich Egermann’s interests also extended to the development of glazing, inventing a glaze process for glass in the late 1810s. Lithyaline glass, a marbleized coating, followed in 1829. Egermann’s greatest contribution to glass dates from 1832, when he developed the famed Bohemian red (ruby) stain process.
