Antique Vintage Victorian Edwardian Cotton Lawn White Lace Blouse

absolutely stunning antique blouse, still in wearable (with care) condition, and in a hard to find larger size (most are *quite* tiny)! one of my treasures… 🫠 she is in amazing condition for her age. small areas to note, lace separating at one small corner and another small hole in lace (both easily repairable). some yellowing at neckline and armpits. a friend who specializes in antiques has told me that boiling in a bit of baking soda could help with this! slight green rust marks from the hooks and eyes at back of neck and have also seemed to transfer to small area of front. really not very noticeable at all when worn. someone at some point put snaps at the wrists to cinch them tighter, could easily remove if you don’t like. there are so many incredible details, so many intricate pleats and panels. it’s just a marvel 🦢✨oops just realized i forgot to include a picture of the original tag! it has the original tag! “Henrietta” with a tiny “38” beneath it ✨ measurements, in inches, lying flat: pit to pit 20” shoulder seam to seam about 15” across neck opening about 6.5” shoulder seam to sleeve edge about 25” length: front about 22”, back about 19” similar to tops recreated by Doen, Ulla Johnson, Free People, Emmy Design Sweden, only this is the real deal ♥️
