Antique Victorian Leg of Mutton Sleeve Jet Bead Silk Bodice Needlework 1890s

Antique Victorian 1890s Black Silk Dramatic Leg of Mutton Sleeve Mourning Bodice with Jet Beads and Embroidered Lace Collar. Fully lined and boned (lining appears to be a very fine glazed cotton.) Sleeve supports at shoulders. Hook and eyes at neck and at bow at waist. Buttons down the front. Shoulders 12.75” Pit to pit 16” Across waist band when fully closed 11.5” Front length from HPS 17.5” Sleeve length 23” *Hook and eye at waist could easily be moved over and last couple of buttons are left unbuttoned to accommodate up to a 25.5/snug 26” waist if so desired. Sold as is. Last 5 button holes are torn at one side/could use a couple of stitches. (Not totally necessary, being there is a hook and eye at waist.) Slight separation/fraying at shoulder seams. Wear to collar. A couple pinholes and a number of small tears (underarms, puff sleeve.) Please see pictures. Repair/use for parts or pattern, display, or wear as is with care. A beautiful piece!
