Antique Victorian Beaded Floral Reticule Bag

Antique Victorian–Edwardian beaded reticule purse, circa 1890–1910. Hand-sewn glass seed beads form a floral rose pattern in shades of yellow, pink, lavender, and green against a tan ground. The top is finished with metallic crochet lace and a drawstring cord closure. Fully lined in cream silk. A beadwork button and tassel fringe (3.5") completes the design. Measurements: Length 9" / Width 5.5" / Fringe 3.5" Condition: Overall good antique condition with expected age-related wear Some bead loss at edges and in floral motifs (see photos) Tassel fringe partially missing and frayed strands Crochet lace shows tarnishing from metallic thread Lining intact with minor wear A beautiful example of late Victorian craftsmanship and a wonderful addition for collectors of antique purses, beaded bags, or textile arts.
