Antique Victorian 14K Gold Sardonyx Cameo - Hard Stone Cameo Pierced Earrings

Genuine C.1890 VICTORIAN antique earrings! Yep, the real deal. Made of 14K Rose Gold (tested, not marked) a lady decided to convert the screwback findings to pierced earrings and found a jeweler to do the conversion as cleanly as possible - only problem was, the gent couldn't match up the rose gold to the findings - he used 14K Yellow Gold (hallmarked as pictured) findings (which, of course, can't be seen from the front). The earrings are true left and right pieces and the center cameo is carved from sardonyx agate aka hardstone - in this case colors of caramel and white. The carving is very nicely done with no chipped noses. A single creamy/gray pearl is set in the "shell-like" top section. Length is 1-5/16" x 11/16"; combined weight of the pair is 8.2 grams. The earrings are presented as I found them - I did not polish the top rose gold just in case the new owners want their Victorian era pieces to LOOK Victorian era (in other words, no high shine). Absolutely gorgeous!
