Amazing find, antique velvet bodice with gorgeous beaded detail. Not perfect but in very nice condition. Wearable with care or fantastic to display. Velvet is jet black, black taffeta ruffles at top edge. Beaded detail front, back and sleeves. Clay color buttons are a visual detail. Silver buttons are functional, with hook and eye closure. Shown on both a 6 and a 2 dress form (too big on the 2), please go by measurements for fit. Waist 29", hem circumference 36", bust 36", pit to pit 18". Overall condition good - loose beads on strap, one missing silver button, small tear at strap lining on the front, light storage odor. Hand stitched. One of a kind. Pre 1900.
