This early edition, likely from the 1910s or 1920s, features classic black-and-white illustrations and the iconic dedication to Cynthia II. The book shows its age with a sturdy spine but fragile, yellowed pages. The front cover page has a tear and small hole, repaired with old scotch tape. Inside, there is writing in ink and pencil, including the original owner's name and address, adding historical charm. There is also a tear and page turns on a couple other pages.
