Antique T & V Limoges Teapot - 1896

This gorgeous teapot is an antique Limoges teapot, manufactured by Tressemann & Vogt. This pot measures 7” H x 11” W x 7” D. This teapot comes with the original purchase receipt and letter of provenance dating this piece to 1883-1908 and coming from a private estate in Alabama. Tressemann & Vogt (T&V) was a French porcelain decorating firm established in 1882 in Limoges, France, by Theodore Tressemann and Gustave Vogt. They specialized in hand-painting intricate floral and other designs on blank porcelain pieces, collaborating with various Limoges porcelain factories. The firm was known for its high-quality decoration and received recognition for its artistry. This has been in the hands of a collector and has never been used. Absolutely gorgeous with fine detailed hand painted flowers and gold leafing.
