Antique Sterling Silver Handled Folding Scissors

Remarkable Antique Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Handled Folding Scissors. Circa 1890s. Created as an advertising give-away, they're marked, “Compliments of The Home Insurance Co N.Y.” On one side. The other side has deep relief flowers & leaves. Sterling silver handles swing open to reveal nice carbon steel scissors. Nice quality scissor head with spring action, and a lanyard ring. The scissors are a little rusted, but still functional. Measures approximately 2.25" x .25". Weighs about 30 grams.
