Antique Sherratt-Style Pearlware Figure, titled "Doctor Syntax Playing at Cards." Figure shows a charming vignette with two seated gentlemen enjoying tea and playing cards in front of a tree, with a little dog looking on. Most notable for the vibrant colors and the exquisite details including the little dog sitting at the pairs feet, the tea set, and the playing cards.
