Antique Silver Crystal Dress Clip Set With Bakelite Initials Genuine Art Deco

RARE, antique rhinestone encrusted clothespin clips. Likely dress clips, popular in the early 1900's & used to embellish clothing, hats, and bags. Estate find (neither myself nor "AI" could find another like this set.) + Clothespin shaped clips adorned with sparkling rhinestones (or perhaps lighter hued marcasites.) Backsides are plain. + From each attached chain hangs a beautiful green bakelite letter "D" initial charm. + The initials look to have a couple of very small holes to move the attached loops to your specifications. 📣Non returnable due to the antiquity and rarity of the set. "AI" states: "The combination of rhinestones, bold geometric shape of the letter, and presence of a chain are characteristic of Art Deco style. Antique dress clips were often adorned with rhinestones or other embellishments & used to decorate clothing." Condition: Pre-loved, antique GUC - Magnificent for age! Pieces show minor darkening, particularly to tops. Some markings to the backs. They are not fragile. They appear to be made out of a lightweight metal, perhaps mixed with a plastic material. They have flexibility, you can slide them open a bit (to attach to garment or item.) I can only find one missing stone, on the side. The green bakelite is shiny, color is vivid.
